This set is the epitome peak experience of my entire Burn this year, and quite possibly all Burns not only past, but combined. The international fire spinning troupe, the Pyronauts, were performing to live drumming next to the stage when they handed the floor to me. So I was playing this set, accompanied by live drums and with the talent of world class fire spinning rockin it home! 22 piece drum troupe led by Jonah Kai and at least 50+ fire spinners in rotation, so it was a collaborative moment of wild proportions, and there I was at the root of it, hands flying the dials of the sonic spaceship.

This set basically struts it from beginning to end. Its hot, sexy, bangin. The fire's a burnin in this one for sure! It pretty much hovers at 140 bpms the entire time. I threw a hint of glitch and a tiny chunk of crunk into this brew to spice the flavor just right. Crank this one in the car, or any place you can get away with it real loud, and see how stylie and smilin you be arrivin...

Mythically empatterned in this sonic weaving are Three Gateways. The first gateway is Initiation and begins with the instruction "the first few minutes will be very disorienting, remember to stay calm and focus." Following takeoff will be contact with a guru, and insight into the nature of self-awareness. Once we've stabilized your rhythms, your awareness feedback cycle will begin to approach itself (I AM that I AM that I AM), and when this engagement happens we pull out the rhythm phasing mechanism and let you drift off and expand out.

Welcome to the frontier of the second gateway. Enter the Void. Remember to breathe deeply, the deeper the better... A stairway of notes will appear gradually over time to greet your every step. As we ride the spiral together, the stairway will dissolve: allow yourself to float into dreamspace. From here, we reintroduce the rhythm stabilizing sequence to guide you safely along. If this movement begins to feel alien, this is a good sign, we are establishing pathways to the far parts of your psyche seldom traversed, where another stargate awaits. As we approach this last gateway, a chorus of angel and seraphim welcome us, and warn us.

This last gateway is guarded by a dragon, and this passing requires of us to sacrifice our life. To share our blood. This is the final battle, with the boundary of ourselves. This dragon is a mythical reflection of our perceived capacity. As we choose to sever our boundaries and pass through the last gateway, we begin our final journey. Return to Source. Deep, ancient and original. Voices within voices within voices. We transform inside out and become One, again. Golden rays of brilliance in all directions. Let us be worthy of another life... Enter the sunlit road of rhythm, the path to a new birth of our choosing. As we walk this path, prayers of rain shower down upon us, and we begin to grow again with the waters of new life.
